Brisbane to Monee Beach

We picked up our campervan molly a little late at 9am after beeing driven from the gold coast to a pretty remote area near brisbane by my brother. After signing all the paperwork we said goodbye and embarked on our 12 day journey to sydney and back. First stop, a mall in the wrong direction to pick up a book. Camps 6 australia wide. Cost us 60$ but totally worth it. It has all the maps you would need and free camping spots.
After finally getting onto the right highway we headed to the border ranges national park. Steep winding roads and a breathtaking scenery made for an interesting drive. The nsw np guide told us to drive a special unsealed road to get even better views. Only for 2wd when its dry. Our trip nearly ended that day. It was only raining a tiny bit and we decided it shouldnt be a problem to drive trough. After 2km i grew worried. The road got very wet and I wanted to turn around but Dennis said we should go ahead cause i cant turn here. Another 300m and the road turned muddy. I slipped and slided and tried not to get stuck or slide down and tip over. After making it through we knew we had to go back as nobody knew how the road infront of us would be
I nearly got a heartattack driving through there again but made it. Lesson learnt!!
We continued on to Kyogle, had a yummy bacon and cheese pie  and drove to Grafton. Realising that the rental company still had our drivers licences. Damnit. Oh well, lets hope the police doesnt stop us.
The jetlag still had me and i was the only on driving (mostly) so i decided i needed to stop for the night. We entered the coordinats of a free campingspot and the navigation sent us completly the wrong way to coffs harbour. We spent the night at monee beach and fell asleep at 8pm.
